Area volleyball playoffs schedules 2020


CYPRESS — The Bridgeland ® High School, Cypress Creek, Cy-Fair and Cypress Ranch high school volleyball teams advanced past the bi-district round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs and move on to the area round, while Cypress Woods and Langham Creek high schools concluded their seasons.

Cypress teams advance to Area Volleyball Playoffs

Bridgeland ® High School defeated Tomball in five sets by the scores of 21-25, 25-13, 25-21, 20-25 and 15-6. The Bears will face Conroe Oak Ridge at 6 p.m. on Nov. 24 at Klein High School (16715 Stuebner Airline Road).

Cypress Creek High School swept Houston Lamar in three sets and advance to face Katy Seven Lakes at 5 p.m. on Nov. 23 at Katy ISD’s Merrell Center. Cypress Creek High School swept Houston Lamar in three sets and advance to face Katy Seven Lakes at 5 p.m. on Nov. 23 at Katy ISD’s Merrell Center.

Cypress Creek swept Houston Lamar in three sets by the scores of 25-20, 25-23 and 25-10. The Cougars advance to face Katy Seven Lakes at 5 p.m. on Nov. 23 at Katy ISD’s Merrell Center (6301 South Stadium Lane).

Cy-Fair swept Houston Carnegie Vanguard in three sets by the scores of 25-15, 25-12 and 25-17. The Bobcats will play Katy Cinco Ranch at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 24 at Houston ISD’s The Pavilion (7525 Tidwell Road).

Cypress Ranch High School swept Tomball Memorial in three sets and will face The Woodlands at 5 p.m. on Nov. 24 at Tomball Memorial High School. Cypress Ranch High School swept Tomball Memorial in three sets and will face The Woodlands at 5 p.m. on Nov. 24 at Tomball Memorial High School.

Cypress Ranch swept Tomball Memorial in three sets by the scores of 25-15, 25-10 and 25-14. The Mustangs advance to face The Woodlands at 5 p.m. on Nov. 24 at Tomball Memorial High School (19100 Northpointe Ridge Lane).

Tickets

Tickets for all games are $5 each (adults and students) and will be sold online. Tickets for the Cypress Creek game will be sold at the door and will be cash only.

Bridgeland ® High School game tickets will be sold through Klein ISD. 

Cy-Fair game tickets will be sold through Houston ISD. 

Cypress Ranch game tickets will be sold through Tomball Memorial Athletics. 

Two Cypress teams end their season

Cypress Woods was defeated by Klein Cain in five sets by the scores of 20-25, 29-27, 25-26, 22-25 and 15-12. The Wildcats were District 16-6A’s third seed and finished the season as bi-district finalists.

Langham Creek was swept by Klein in three sets by the scores of 25-11, 25-8 and 25-16. The Lobos were District 16-6A’s fourth seed and finished the season as bi-district finalists.
