Attempted $75K thief in custody

Manhunt continues for other suspects involved in failed thievery.



CYPRESS — The suspected driver of the Chrysler 300 vehicle, Travonn Johnson, that ran over the two victims last Friday (Aug. 17, 2018) in the violent robbery has been apprehended, according to the Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.

Investigators are in the process of identifying and filing more criminal charges on others they believe to have been involved in the robbery.


“Stay tuned everyone, we are working hard for you,” said Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman.
