Bears, Cy-Ranch, Cy-Lakes start league play on top of 14-6A


CYPRESS — The Bears opened league play with a 3-0 victory over Cypress rival, Cy-Springs, Tuesday night (Aug. 21, 2018).

The win puts first-year-varsity CFISD HS #12 in the top half of District 14-6A’s rankings; obviously, the match puts the Panthers into the bottom half with one match in the books.

Cy-Ranch and Cy-Lakes also took home victories in the first night of district play. Tomball Memorial also defeated Cy-Woods.

Across Highway 290, the District 17-6A season already has Cy-Fair, Cy-Creek and Cy-Ridge posting league victories. While Jersey Village and Cy-Falls posted losses.
