CYPRESS TEXAS — The CFISD nutrition services department invites students, parents, faculty and friends to sample the latest products available in school cafeterias during the Annual Food Tasting on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road).

Community members are welcome and encouraged to attend and sample various foods made by potential district vendors while providing input on the new products available for both school breakfast and lunch.

Around 20 vendors are expected to participate and offer a variety of food items to the fun-filled event that is free to the public. The theme of this year’s Annual Food Tasting is “Power Up, Round Up.” A raffle with prizes will be held for visiting patrons, including both a 20-inch girl’s and boy’s bicycle.

The Annual Food Tasting returns on Feb. 7 at the Berry Center. At the 2018 event, nearly 20 vendors offered a variety of items for visitors to sample. This year’s theme is “Power Up, Round Up.”
