CYPRESS — Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the Telge Park, located in the 12400 block of Pleasant Grove Drive in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle, yesterday.

Upon arriving, officers were advised that two unknown males broke the driver’s back passenger window, stole property and quickly fled the location in another vehicle, July 21, 2019, according to the precinct.

The precinct states that Constable deputies quickly located the suspects’ vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the 13600 block of Spring Cypress Road. According to the report, deputies smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from inside the vehicle.

The driver, David Thomas and passenger Domonique King were both detained and further investigation lead deputies to locate the stolen items that were reported from the burglary.

According to the precinct, the stolen property was recovered and returned to the owner.

“Both males were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with burglary of a motor vehicle,” said Constable Mark Herman. “David Thomas received No Bond out of County Court 08. Domonique King received a $100.00 bond of County Court 16.”
