CYPRESS — According to police reports, a pedestrian failed to yield right of way to vehicles on the road early this morning (Aug. 6, 2018).
The pedestrian entered the northbound traffic lanes in the 6400 block of Barker Cypress Rd.
The pedestrian was struck by a northbound Dodge truck. The pedestrian was projected into the right traffic lane. A northbound black Jeep hit the pedestrian as he lay at a final rest position in the right traffic lane.
The driver of the Dodge truck and the driver of the Jeep stopped at the crash scene. The pedestrian was found with no signs of life at the crash scene.
This crash remains under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Vehicle Crimes Division, Traffic Enforcement.
