CYPRESS — Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a shooting scene at a Walgreens parking lot located at the intersection of FM 529 and Queenston Road today at approximately 3:30 p.m.
According to initial reports, the victim was a carpool driver dropping off his co-workers. The shooter was described as the driver of a dark colored tow truck. The HCSO public information officer explained that interpreters were on the scene to translate information from the Spanish-only-speaking group of witnesses.
Additionally, the victim received facial wounds and was evacuated to a Memorial Hermann hospital via Life Flight helicopter.
