Favorite things to do after class: “After school, I am always looking forward to rehearsals. It’s a fun way to wind down after a long day of school. When I get home, the first thing I do is take a nap. I enjoy playing video games as well after finishing up my homework.”

Favorite song:Smile by Katy Perry.”

Favorite website/app: “Reddit because it allows me to partake in communities around the world for all sorts of fandoms or just certain topics in general. It allows me to ask questions about almost anything and I can get an answer back immediately. I can communicate with other people who are interested in the same things I am in, and it allows me to show off my ideas and creations.”

Favorite TV show:Steven Universe teaches its viewers that violence is not always the answer, and that we should love and accept each other for who we are despite our difference instead of holding each other back from our true potential. This show has changed my life and allowed me to open up and be me. I would not be who I am today without it.”

Favorite movie:Mean Girls is absolutely hilarious and I never get tired of watching it! The movie revolves around certain themes such as society/class, power and identity, and I think people could learn a lot from this movie.”

Ambition: “I would love to be a film actor and/or model. I really feel comfortable acting and modeling. I am really interested in fashion as well and love to look good in front of the camera.”

What topics/things are you passionate about?: “I am extremely passionate about acting. Theater lets me escape reality and put my emotions out on the stage. Every time I am performing in front of an audience, I get this rush that makes me happy.”

What inspires you? “Music. When the right song is playing at the right time, it can completely change my attitude toward a situation. The artists that inspire me the most are Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.”

What three things can’t you live without?: “My parents as without them I would not be where I am right now. They have supported me through all my decisions and ambitions and have allowed me to be who I am without any shame. Music makes me happy. I love hearing songs I can relate to and vibe to. And King Louie, my dog. He greets me every morning and wishes me well each night. He is the sweetest dog and always by my side.”

What are you most looking forward to this semester?: “Being Freddy the Falcon at the games is so much fun! I love making kids smile and getting the students in the stands all hyped for our school.”
