CFISD Student of the Week: Jeremiah Masagate


CYPRESS — Hemmenway Elementary School fifth grade student Jeremiah Masagate is recognized by teachers for his passion for learning and working hard on all assignments.

Grade: 5

Accomplishments: Masagate has focused on making progress in all core subjects and has mainly worked on his writing skills. Masagate’s teachers recognize his growth in writing and say he’s becoming an amazing author.

Favorite class: “I love Science because I get to do experiments with Coca-Cola.”

Favorite things to do after class: “I enjoy playing Despicable Me: Minion Rush on my iPad.”

Favorite song: “I love Stereo Madness by ForeverBound.”

Favorite website/app: “I love Cool Math and YouTube because I enjoy playing games and listening to music.”

Favorite movie: “My favorite movie is Despicable Me because I love the minions.”

Ambition: “I would love to be a YouTuber and singer because I love to sing and make YouTube videos.”

What topics/things are you passionate about?: “I love anything with technology and cars.”

What inspires you?: “My mom inspires me the most because she always tells me I can do it.”

What three things can’t you live without?: “I cannot live without my shoes, mask and clothes.”

What are you most looking forward to this semester?: “I am looking forward to doing science experiments.”
