CFISD Student of the Week: Molly Vasquez

CYPRESS — Sheridan Elementary School second grade student Molly Vasquez is praised by her teachers for being a superstar student in and out of the classroom.

Accomplishments: Vasquez is always ready to learn and help others throughout the school day. She cares for her friends and for others in her community while being a model student and citizen.

Favorite class: “I like writing because it is fun to write about different topics. I also like science because we do cool experiments and we learn a lot.”

Favorite things to do after class: “After school, I like to play with my sister and my toys. I also like to read before bed.”

Favorite song: “I love all songs by Michael Jackson.”

Favorite TV show: “I like the show Cobra Kai. It’s cool to see the students learn karate.”

Ambition: “I want to be a counselor at a school then I want to move on and be a counselor for people of all ages so I can help more people.”

What topics/things are you passionate about?: “I am passionate about helping others. That is why I want to be a counselor. I am also passionate about giving to people who need it.”

What inspires you?: “My teachers and my family inspire me to be the best I can be.”

What three things can’t you live without?: “My puppies, my parents and my teachers/school.”

What are you most looking forward to this semester?: “I’m excited to do our class research project in reading and writing. We get to learn all about sharks and I can’t wait to make a poster about it.”
