CFVFD crews train for high-rise operations

CYPRESS — Preparing for danger never ends for Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department crews. Crew members of Cy-Fair Fire Station 6 trained on high-rise operations in the HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress parking garage in Cypress on June 27, 2019.

They trained and practiced skills needed to safely and effectively fight fires in a multi-story high-rise building.

Every week, at all 13 CFVFD stations, members gather and train to improve their firefighting skills to better serve the Cy-Fair community.

CFVFD invites you to serve your community as a Volunteer Firefighter! You can start your journey at any CFVFD station on Thursday nights at 7:00 pm.
