HARRIS COUNTY — The northbound lanes of Highway 6 North were closed to traffic between Groeschke Road and Pine Forrest Drive, yesterday (Sept. 2, 2018).
Crews arrived on scene and found a large tree had fallen onto the northbound lanes of Highway 6 and struck a vehicle.
Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department and Houston Fire Department crews worked extricate two patients from the vehicle. The patients were transported to a local hospital.
Texas Department of Transportation crews also worked to remove the traffic hazard.
