CFVFD, Jersey Village firefighters battle blaze, 3 injured

HARRIS COUNTY — Three Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department firefighters had a brush with danger at a commercial building fire yesterday afternoon (Feb. 7, 2019).

CFVFD and Jersey Village firefighters actively fought the blaze at an industrial complex in the 6000 block of Brittmoore Road, south of Jersey Village city limits.

During the battle, an interior wall collapsed, injuring the three Cypress firefighters. According to CFVFD, two firefighters were treated on the scene and the third was taken to a hospital.

Between the two fire departments, 17 units were involved with the commercial fire.
