CFVFD medics further their antivenom training


Seven Cy-Fair VFD EMS members attend the seventh annual Houston Venom Conference hosted by Toxicologist, Dr. Spencer Greene at Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Medical Center on Tuesday, April 30, 2019.

Hosted by Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital, the conference focuses on the treatment and management of snakebites, spider bites, and other envenomations to educate an audience of physicians, nurses, and EMS professionals. After the conference, the members were treated to a behind-the-scenes tour of the reptile and bug houses at the Houston Zoo.
