CFVFD rescues family pet during Friday morning blaze


CYPRESS — Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department crews responded to a structure fire in the 13000 block of Fountaincrest Dr. in the Chimney Hill subdivision early Friday morning.

According the CFVFD, one patient was evaluated on scene by Cy-Fair EMS and released with no serious injuries. Crews were able to rescue one of the family pets from the home. A second dog is still reported to be missing. The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office was on the scene investigating the cause of the fire.
