Charges filed on Blackledge for James’ death. HCSO needs your help to find him.


HARRIS COUNTY — Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez has put out the call for information of Tekoney Blackledge’s whereabouts. The sheriff asks you to call 713-274-9100 (click to call).

Blackledge is charged with the murder of Saron James, according to Gonzalez.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a second shooting-related death of the day in the Cypress area Tuesday, July 16, 2019.

At approximately 6:20 p.m. Harris County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting in the 4900 block of Old Greenhouse Road, in west Harris County.

Police reports say that Saron James was riding with her husband, in the Rodeo when they passed a white Audi SUV. Mr. James heard several gunshots that shattered their vehicle’s windows. Mr. James stopped in the roadway when he realized his wife was shot.

Saron James was transported to an area hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
