CYPRESS TEXAS — A concrete truck caught fire this morning on southbound Fry Road, between Highway 290 and the 76X6W6JR+GC area.
The area near the commercial vehicle fire at 12500 Fry Road was reported to have been closed to traffic for obvious safety reasons.
Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department dispatched crews at 7:12 a.m. (April 12, 2019), and the first firefighters on the scene reported the cement truck was fully engulfed.
Drivers in the area reported seeing the truck driver having escaped the flames safely.
CFVFD crews extinguished the fire with no injuries reported.
