CYPRESS — According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Precinct 4 Constable deputies shot a family violence suspect multiple times Thursday night (Sept. 19, 2019). The male suspect was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to the sheriff’s office, Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s deputies were dispatched to 11618 Vailrun Drive in reference to an assault family violence call. Upon arrival, the officers were met by an adult female who said she was assaulted by her husband. The female allowed deputies into the residence where they encountered the male suspect seated in the living room. The male stood and discharged a firearm at the deputies. The deputies returned fire and struck the suspect multiple times. The suspect was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The female complainant was also transported to the hospital for treatment to the wounds she received when she was assaulted by the suspect.
Our Deputies were dispatched to a domestic call in the 11600 block of of Vale Run. When Constables arrived a male at the location pulled a weapon on deputies and a gun fight occurred. The case is being investigated by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
