CYPRESS — The Precinct 4 Constable’s Office says officers arrested a Cypress-area man for throwing a wooden chair at a neighbor, Sunday.

According to the precinct, deputies with Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s office responded to the 8100 block of Devonwood Lane in reference to a weapons disturbance, June 30, 2019.

The precinct says that, “upon deputies arriving, the complainant advised he has had ongoing issues with a neighbor, Zachary Alvarez for several weeks and today, during an argument, he threw a wooden chair at him causing him pain and a visible abrasion.”

Alvarez was subsequently arrested.

“Zachary Alvarez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Assault Bodily Injury,” said Herman. “His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 13.”
