HOCKLEY — According to the Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office, in May 2019, deputies responded to the 17300 block of Osprey Forest Drive in reference to to an assault. Upon arriving, officers located the victim, a 68-year-old woman stated she was walking through the neighborhood to pick up her grandchildren from Roberts Elementary School when a pack of dogs charged at her.
The precinct says the victim stated she tried fighting the dogs off with an umbrella she was carrying, when a male approached her and punched her in the face before fleeing in a vehicle. A witness was able to provide deputies with the vehicle description and license plate number.
The precinct stated the victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for lacerations to her face and a fracture to her shoulder which required surgery.
According to the victim, she would see the male everyday when she walked to pick up her grandchildren. Officers compiled a photo array, and the suspect was identified as Nicholas Foley and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
“Nicholas Foley has been arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with injury to an elderly,” said Constable Mark Herman. “His bond was set at $50,000.00 out of the 338th District Court.”
