HARRIS COUNTY — On January 4, 2019, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the Pinecrest Forest subdivision in reference to an aggravated robbery, according to police reports.

Upon deputies arriving, the complainant advised that he and his friend were walking around the neighborhood, when four armed male suspects exited their vehicle and robbed and assaulted them both before fleeing the scene.

Investigating Constable Deputies were able to identify the suspects as Tyson Taplin and three juvenile males. Deputies obtained warrants for their arrest.

“On January 14, 2019, deputies located and arrested Tyson Taplin and the juveniles,” said Constable Mark Herman. “Tyson Taplin was booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon. He received No Bond out of the 338th District Court. The juveniles were booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center, also charged with Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon.”
