Constables help fix illegally dumped acid barrels


CYPRESS — Precinct 4 Constable’s Office investigators were on the scene of eight barrels of acid found dumped on Bauer Road northwest of Cypress today.

According to the precinct, officers worked with Harris County Pollution Control and an environmental clean up company at the 16500 block of Bauer Road, removing approximately 200 gallons dumped there.

Roughly an hour later, the barrels were removed and the roadway was reopened to traffic.
