CYPRESS — Corky’s Ribs & BBQ—a family-owned Memphis tradition since 1984—is excited to announce the opening of a new location in Cypress.
The new Corky’s will be located at 25618 Northwest Freeway (click to open Google Maps) —about a 30-minute drive from the Corky’s location in Katy.
The Cypress location will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday-Wednesday and 11 a.m. to midnight Thursday-Saturday.
“We are excited to bring the flavor of Memphis BBQ here to Cypress on September 16th,” said owner Bruce Gingrich. “We offer traditional brisket, Memphis-style pulled pork, mouthwatering ribs and more of your southern favorites. This will be a great experience for the whole family to come and enjoy our outdoor patio that will feature easy-listening music on our stage. Be sure to come and try one of our many bourbons or draft beers on tap while watching the game.”
Corky’s BBQ is Memphis-style barbecue. The restaurant chain says it helped put Memphis on the map as a culinary capital and BBQ haven.
Corky’s BBQ has been voted the No. 1 BBQ joint in Memphis 22 times since Don Pelts fired up Corky’s first hickory and charcoal BBQ pit nearly 35 years ago with one goal in mind: to make Corky’s name synonymous with consistently delicious, authentic Memphis BBQ by creating a fun, clean, family atmosphere and by putting employees first which, in turn, creates happy customers.
