Cy Creek FD saves victim from house fire


HARRIS COUNTY — Cy-Fair VFD crews responded to a residential structure fire in the 8300 block of Prairie Wind Lane in Houston, just east of Jersey Village, early Friday morning.

CFVFD Engine 10 arrived first on scene to heavy fire through the roof of the home.

Crews worked together to quickly to extinguish the fire. Cypress Creek Fire Department / Harris County ESD 13 Engine 24 rescued one victim during the primary search of the structure. The patient was treated by Cy-Fair Medic crews and transported to the hospital in serious condition.

The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.

Cy-Fair VFD was assisted with mutual aid by Cy-Creek Fire Department and Jersey Village Fire Department.
