Cy-Fair Chamber honors Precinct 4 corporal

CYPRESS — Members of the Precinct 4 Constable’s Office were on hand as the Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce honored one of their own as October’s First Responder of the Month, Oct. 16, 2018.

Assistant Chief Zitzmann, Capt. Blackledge and Cpl. Michael Pleytez from Constable Mark Herman’s Office attended the Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce Luncheon.

Pleytez was recognized as the October 2018 First Responder of the Month for his actions on Aug. 17, 2018, which led to the arrest of three suspects for aggravated robbery who had followed the complainants from a bank to their business and attempted to rob them, running them over with a vehicle.

“Corporal Michael Pleytez’ quick actions and investigative skill allowed him to arrest three violent criminals who were preying on citizens in Northwest Harris County,” the constable said. “He is commended for a job well done.”
