CYPRESS — The Cy-Fair and Cypress Creek high school football teams won their area playoff games and advance to the regional semifinal round of the postseason Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.

In the Class 6A Division I playoff bracket, Cy-Fair won its Region III matchup, beating Fort Bend Ridge Point, 31-0, on Nov. 23 at Rhodes Stadium in Katy.

The Bobcats will face Humble Atascocita on Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. at NRG Stadium (1 Reliant Park). Cy-Fair will serve as the designated home team.

In the Class 6A Division II bracket, Cypress Creek won its Region III playoff, defeating Katy Taylor, 24-14, on Nov. 23 at Legacy Stadium.

The Cougars advance to face Humble Summer Creek on Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. at Rice Stadium (6100 Main Street). Cypress Creek will serve as the designated visiting team.

Jersey Village High School ended its season as a Division I Region III-6A area finalist following a 58-14 loss to Katy on Nov. 23 at Legacy Stadium in Katy.

Both the Cypress Falls Eagles and Cypress Ranch Mustangs ended their seasons as area finalists. Cypress Falls lost to Katy Tompkins, 31-21, on Nov. 24 at Pridgeon Stadium in a Division I Region III-6A contest, while Cypress Ranch lost to Spring Westfield, 24-17, in overtime on Nov. 24 at Thorne Stadium in a Division II Region II playoff.

Regional semifinal round playoff ticket sale information is as follows:

Cy-Fair High School

  • Pre-sale tickets will be $11 for adults and $6 for students. All tickets sold at the gate will be $15 apeice and NRG Stadium charges $12 per vehicle for parking.
  • Tickets will be on sale at the Cy-Fair High School campus in the lobby of the performance gym from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27 and from 10:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 29 and 30, in the finance office. All visitors must check in at the front desk on Thursday and Friday.
  • Pre-sale ticket sales are cash only and no online ticket sales are available.

Cypress Creek High School

  • Pre-sale tickets will be $8 for adults and $6 for students. All tickets sold at the gate will be $12 apeice and Rice Stadium charges $5 per vehicle for parking.
  • Tickets will be on sale at the Cypress Creek High School campus in the athletic office. The office is off of main street and signage will help direct you to the office. Tickets will be sold on campus on Tuesday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Nov. 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Tuesday, ticket sales will be extended to 6 p.m. All visitors must check in at the front office during school hours. During lunch hours, tickets will be sold in the cafeteria.
  • Pre-sale tickets can be purchased with cash or credit card. No online ticket sales are available.

Tickets for both regional semifinal playoff games will also be available for purchase at the CFISD athletic office at the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road, entrance 2) on Tuesday, Nov. 27 through Thursday, Nov. 29 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Friday, Nov. 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
