Cy-Fair Fire Department crews responded to a commercial structure fire at the Phillips Gas Station near FM 529 and Eldridge in Houston today.
According to the department, occupants reported smoke filling the gas station and neighboring restaurant just after noon. Fire crews arrived and located the fire in the back portion of the restaurant near the air conditioner and mechanical area in the ceiling.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The Harris County Fire Marshal and Harris County Health Department have been contacted to assist with the incident.
