Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department achieves better ISO classification

CYPRESS TEXAS — From the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department: “The Texas Department of Insurance and State Fire Marshal’s Office have approved an ISO “Class 2” rating for @CFVFD, effective 02/01/2019.

Public Protection Classifications (PPC) range from 1 (best) to 10 (worst).

The PPC is one factor that is used in determining property insurance rates in our area. The new lower classification could effectively LOWER INSURANCE RATES for residents and commercial properties!!

Cy-Fair VFD and its members have worked hard to obtain this new rating, and will continue our path towards improvement.”
