CYPRESS — For the sixth time, the annual Cypress-Fairbanks ISD Back-to-School Expo is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road).
The expo provides a number of helpful resources to incoming students, parents and prospective employees, allowing for a smooth transition into the school district.
Pre-K new student registration is scheduled at elementary campuses from Aug. 14-17, and will not be available at the Back to School Expo.
Additionally, the expo is open to incoming CFISD students only. Parents & guardians need to bring photo ID, birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residency. Registration forms will be available in both English and Spanish, also.
Immunizations will be Administered by Harris County Health Department. Vision screenings will be administered by CFISD Health Services. Physical exams will be provided by Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital. Before- and after-school registration forms for Club Rewind will also be available. The Cy-Fair Community Health Center is slated to provide Medicaid insurance application assistance and school-based health center application.
