CYPRESS — The Deputy Memorial Fund, a non-profit organization, is keeping late Harris County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Darren Goforth’s name alive.

The organization hosted a memorial walk earlier today (Aug. 26, 2018), almost three years after the officer was murdered at a Copperfield gas station on Aug. 28, 2015.

Organizers counted just over 120 supporters who came out and showed their support in some way, shape or form. Most walked almost two miles in remembrance of Goforth.

You can find out more and how to support the www.facebook.com/deputymemorialfund, which is involved in other pro-police and pro-first-responder type events across the area.
