CYPRESS — With one volleyball match down, and a season to go, the pre-district season moves into tournament play today.
Many of the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD teams will be in the Katy tournament that starts today and runs through Saturday. Thursday is pool play, which will determine seeding for the tournament brackets for the remainder of the tournament.
Here are the reported season records after Tuesday’s season openers. Cy-Lakes participated in a triple-threat battle with Bellville and Morton Ranch, which went both ways leaving them at 1-1 after one day of action.
Tournament action is hard to predict because everything becomes the unexpected once the tournament brackets are filled in. You can keep track of your team’s progress in this week’s Katy – Cy-Fair Volleyball Classic, here.
