CYPRESS — When it happened, the community shaken by the event promised not to forget. Every year we walk in the memory of Deputy Goforth and every year the memorial walk brings more meaning to each of us.
This year we walk in memory of Deputy Goforth and other fallen Houston-area officers. This is more than just a walk. This is an event that brings the community and law enforcement together and allows the community to walk hand-in-hand, arm-in-arm, alongside of those that serve and protect us each and every day. Show up and show your support.
More than 100 supporters showed their dedication to keep the memory of Darren Goforth alive at Sunday’s “United we Goforth” memorial walk at the park named after him. Deputy Goforth was murdered in Copperfield Aug. 28, 2015.
