CYPRESS — Now is the time to attend New Student Orientations (NSO) at Lone Star College-CyFair and get on the right pathway for college success.“To help with First Time in College (FTIC) students’ transition to college, LSC-CyFair offers New Student Orientation sessions every day of our summer terms, giving incoming college students an opportunity to learn about Lone Star College, connect with peers, staff and faculty, as well as meet an academic advisor,” said Dr. Bennie Lambert, Vice President for Student Success. “Orientation culminates with hands-on enrollment assistance by our NSO team.”
Morning and afternoon sessions are available Monday through Thursdays throughout the summer starting June 3. All sessions are free, but space is limited and requires registration through myLoneStar, text or email.
Most orientation sessions will be held at the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress Road at West Road with a weekly orientation session held at the LSC-Cypress Center at 19710 Clay Road.
