de la Torre arrested, charged with aggravated assault

KATY — A man wanted by law enforcement after an altercation earlier today at The Village School near Whittington and Westmead drives, has turned himself in to Precinct 5 Constable deputies this evening (Jan. 22, 2019).

De la Torre reportedly attempted to run over a security guard, who shot at him while de la Torre was in his vehicle.

According to police, at approximately 1 p.m., a man with an active restraining order struck a school security guard with his vehicle in the street. The security guard discharged his weapon several times.
