HOCKLEY — Master-planned Dellrose will soon release the first of 277 new homesites, increasing the number of homes in the Hockley community to more than 1,000.

 

The new release will accommodate a variety of home designs, including a new collection of floor plans, the Enclave Series, by Empire Communities.

 

“The Enclave Series will introduce a fresh architectural element to the community,” said Tracy Byrd, Division President, Empire Communities. “And with starting prices in the $200s, we are able to maintain a level of affordability that has been dwindling in the Houston-area market.”

 

Empire’s Enclave Series will feature home designs ranging from 1,800 to 2,300 square feet with three- and four-bedroom floor plans that have mid-century, modern elevations.

 

The new homesites will be split into three new sections within Dellrose. Empire Communities and Chesmar Homes will build together in two of the sections, with home sizes ranging from 1,518 to 2,630 square feet. Pricing will start from the $200s in one section and upper $200s in the second.

 

Lennar and Ashton Woods Homes will build in the third new section, offering homes from the low $300s and ranging from 1,747 to 2,890 square feet.

 

“This release of new homesites will help alleviate the demand our builders have been experiencing,” said Matt Janke, Vice President of Land Acquisition and Development for Empire Continental Land, developer of Dellrose. “Demand surged last year, with sales increasing about 50 percent more than anticipated as 2020 turned out to be anything but a normal year,”

 

With the new sections opening, Dellrose will have more than 1,000 total homesites. Home sales begin in September with new Empire Communities and Chesmar Homes models opening later in the year.
