HARRIS COUNTY — In large part to a donation, the Precinct 4 rescue fleet is expanded to include more watercraft.

Last spring, Precinct 4 received a donation from Houston Northwest Church to expand the rescue fleet. With that single donation, the precinct purchased four flat-bottom boats customized for rescue missions.

The boats will be operated by select members of Precinct 4’s Road and Bridge crews who receive specialized training to operate the boats, navigate flood waters, and make rescues.
