JERSEY VILLAGE — According to police reports, on April 28, 2019, deputies with the Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the McDonald’s located in the 28600 block of the Northwest Freeway in reference to a possible intoxicated driver in the drive-thru lane at 3 a.m.

According to the report, upon deputies arriving, the driver was found to be unconscious behind the wheel while the vehicle was running. After several attempts to wake him up, he then drove into the McDonald’s wall then continued to press on the gas and struck a parked vehicle.

The driver was detained and identified as Robert Flores who displayed several signs of intoxication. According to the report, Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and it was discovered that he was driving while intoxicated.

“Robert Flores was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated,” said Herman. “His bond was set at $3,000.00 out of County Court 4.”
