CYPRESS TEXAS — The Fairfield Baseball Association is dedicating a field after a late umpire during opening day ceremonies tomorrow, March 2, 2019.

Following the dedication ceremony, the association’s Field #3 will become Payne Field, named after Mike Payne, a sports official who passed away last August.

The association has an opening day parade scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. The parade route is set to travel northbound on Mason Road from Cypresswood to Fairfield Green.

The dedication and opening ceremonies are expected to begin at 10:30 a.m., at Field #2.
