CYPRESS — According to police reports, on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018, at approximately 12:25 a.m., Burk Tinley was operating a Black GMC Yukon traveling southbound near the 11900 block of Fry Road, in the right lane.

Stephen Kinge was walking southbound near the 11900 block of Fry Road, in the center of the right lane. Kinge failed to yield right of way to vehicular traffic on the roadway and was struck by the front left of the Yukon.

Kinge was transported to Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital where he was found with no signs of life.

Tinley remained at the scene of the crash and showed no signs of impairment.

This crash remains under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division.
