CYPRESS — According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020, at or about 7:53 a.m., Mr. Camilo Morejon, with three unknown adult passengers was operating a 2012 Honda Accord westbound through the 12200 block of FM 529.
On the same date and time an unknown male was operating a 2006 Ford F150, eastbound through the 12200 block of FM 529.
The HCSO later identified the complainant as Leosveyka Gonzalez.
The operator of the Ford attempted turn left in front of the Honda into a private parking lot on the northside of the roadway of FM 529 in the 12200 block.
The Ford’s operator failed to yield the right of way and was struck by the Honda.
The three passenger’s inside the Honda, two of which not wearing a seatbelt died on scene from injuries sustained in this collision.
The operator of the Honda was transported to HCA Healthcare North Cypress in critical condition. The operator of the Ford also not wearing a seatbelt was ejected from his vehicle during the crash, he was transported to Memorial Hermann in the Medical Center in critical condition.
HCSO’s preliminary investigation indicated speed and alcohol/drugs are a factor in this collision. This case remains under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division.
