CYPRESS — Cypress Ranch High School graduate Cat Crenek and Cypress Creek High School rising sophomore Ja’Naiya Thomas led a quartet of CFISD standouts named to the 2018 Collin Street Bakery/Texas Sports Writers Association All-State teams.
Crenek and Thomas were both named to the second team. Crenek was named as the first baseman, while Thomas, the District 17-6A Newcomer of the Year, was the second team’s utility selection.
