KATY — Four new police officers are serving the Cypress and Katy communities today.
Precinct 5 Constable Ted Heap swore in four new deputies this morning with friends, family and department personnel in attendance.
Just before the ceremony, Heap spent a few minutes with the new deputies, talking about the department’s philosophy and what to expect from joining the law enforcement family. At the same time Chief Brian Harris expressed the same to their families.
