
CYPRESS — A pair of bandits escaped after stealing a golf cart in Cypress, yesterday.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and the Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, a search in the area near the 10500 block of Fallbrook Drive ended empty handed as two suspects escaped the long arm of the law.
During the chase, a deputy’s patrol vehicle flipped over, into a ditch. Luckily, the officer was not hurt and pursued the golf cart bandits on foot.
The police agencies were looking for two white male suspects.
One was described as wearing a black shirt and shorts and the other wearing a white shirt and ripped jeans.
The search perimeter was terminated at approximately 4:30 p.m. However, police were able to recover the golf cart.
