Harmony schools in Cypress closing for Hurricane Laura


CYPRESS — The Cypress-area Harmony Public Schools will be closed, including for virtual instruction, tomorrow and Thursday, with Friday classes on the bubble, as Hurricane Laura moves into the area.

In a message to parents, all Harmony Houston North campuses — which include the Harmony Science Academy – Cypress (K-5) and the Harmony School of Discovery – Houston (6-12) — and the district office will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 26 and Thursday, Aug. 27, 2020.

According to the district, a decision about Friday, August 28, is scheduled to be made Thursday evening.

Harmony Houston North campuses will be closed Aug. 26 and Aug. 27, 2020, in precaution for Hurricane Laura.
