Have a safe Super Bowl!

Editor’s note: If you plan on drinking, consider having Uber of Lyft set up to get you to and fro.

Get a Lyft, here.

We’re going to hit up every Cypress-area police blotter tomorrow, just how we do every Monday.
Please don’t drink and drive. Plan ahead with a sober designated driver, and if you don’t, please call an Uber or Lyft, or a sober friend or sober family member to come get you.
Because our boys and girls in blue will be more than happy to help you out at a very high cost of a DUI.
From Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s office (north of 290): “Constable Mark Herman’s Office is urging football fans to call the play now: drinking OR driving. If you plan on drinking today, designate a sober driver to get you home safely.
Constable Herman has allocated extra patrols for detecting impaired drivers in order to keep the citizens of Precinct 4 safe.If you drink and drive, you WILL go to jail!”

From Precinct 5 Constable Ted Heap’s office (south of 290): “No matter which team you’re rooting for or where you’re watching the Super Bowl, Constable Ted Heap reminds you to have a great, and safe, Super Bowl Sunday. If you’ve had too much to drink, let someone sober drive you home. Call a friend, a taxi or Uber and pick your car up in the morning once the celebration is over. Our deputies will be on the streets of Precinct 5, looking for drunk drivers and making sure everyone who is on the streets is as safe as can be.”
