CYPRESS TEXAS — A pair of Cypress volleyball players’ on-the-court efforts are continuing to pay dividends even though their senior seasons have completed.
The Texas Sports Writers Association released its 2018 All-State teams Saturday evening, giving Cy Ranch one last hurrah to an amazing volleyball season.
Michelle Klein and Peyton DeBello earned their spots on the All-State team as honorable mentions at the outside hitter position.

Additionally, District 14-6A rival Tomball Memorial also saw one of its spikers also earn an honorable mention in the outside hitter slot. Karli Rose, who had been one of the team’s poster children last season, earned the honor.

In nearby Katy, Seven Lakes also placed two outside hitters onto the honorable mention section, as Natalie Winter and Ally Batenhorst made the team.
Klein High School also placed Nene Mbonu and Ashlen Jennings into the outside hitter honorable mention squad.
