Langham Creek HS star named to Touchdown Club UIL Preseason Football Team

HOUSTON — Langham Creek High School senior Chris Herron was among the standout football players named to and honored as a part of the Touchdown Club of Houston 2018 UIL High School Preseason Football Team on Aug. 17 at the organization’s Touchdown of the Year event at the JW Marriot.

Herron, a senior quarterback for the Lobos, was among the 29 football players selected to the preseason team, which the Touchdown Club constructs through film study, recommendations, recruiting rankings and preseason publications.

Each player honored by the Touchdown Club was presented with a plaque commemorating the distinction and congratulated by Pro Football Hall of Famers Terry Bradshaw and Joe Greene, who helped lead the Pittsburgh Steelers to four Super Bowl championships in the 1970’s. Bradshaw was named the 2018 Touchdowner of the Year.
