Life Flight called in after man receives serious trauma during assault in southern Cypress (updated)


CYPRESS — Local emergency services have reported a man received serious trauma from an assault this morning in the southern Cypress, Texas, area.

The assault occurred at the 6700 block of Albion Crescent Dr. in the Strathmore subdivision Friday morning in the greater Katy area / southern Cypress.

The Cy-Fair Fire Department crewmembers called in Memorial Hermann Life Flight.

The helicopter medevac landed in the Circle K parking lot.

According to CFFD, medics treated an adult male with serious trauma and called for Memorial Hermann Life Flight, who transported the patient in critical condition to Memorial Hermann – TMC.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this incident.
