Lone Star College is Speaking of Business April 24


CYPRESS TEXAS — Learn the steps to gaining the competitive edge in business at the April 24 Speaking of Business Series presentation at Lone Star College-CyFair.

Join CEO of Fruition Technology Labs Wesley Okeke for his “The Driving Forces of Business Innovation” talk as he illustrates how innovation improves an organization’s ability to collaborate and compete in an ever-changing world.

“Wesley has a passion for encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit of each person he meets,” said Ellen Junious, LSC-CyFair business professor and series coordinator. “Attendees at this month’s presentation will walk away inspired and ready to take the next steps to play an integral role in meeting business needs.”

Okeke has a more than 18-year career in business development, marketing and sales within technology companies based in Boston and Silicon Valley. He developed new markets for tech-based products in 10 industry segments as well as supported three global divisions in marketing and product development. His career that took him to Asia, Europe, Canada, South America and throughout the United States.

From his corporate experience, Okeke said “I learned the vital importance having a simple and clear process to successfully take an idea from concept to launch while keeping the focus on the people for whom this idea has its purpose.”

Light refreshments will be served at this upcoming event held from 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. in the Conference Center at 9191 Barker Cypress; however, space is limited.
