CYPRESS — A shooting occurred at the 20700 block of Cypress Post Drive. The victim received serious, but non-life threatening gun shot wounds.

Editor’s note: The Cypress News Review has received updated information: Contrary to our initial report, the victim SURVIVED the shooting.

On Sunday, June 23 at approximately 9:37 p.m., Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies  responded to an in progress life in danger call at 20700 Cypress Post Dr.

“Upon arrival units discovered one male victim shot two times in the leg by unknown assailant(s). The victim was transported by Cy Fair EMS to Ben Taub with serious but non-life threatening wounds,” according to the Sheriff’s Office.
